Never buy samsung again. They are using g80sd parts and sell u a higher price. The seat is uneven. There is no ez return. If u open the box, they will not return for u. I preorder this on April 11th, they shipped out on April 28th, I received it on April 30th. But warranty was start from April 11th. Samsung is stealing ur warranty period. Do not buy samsung products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best OLED panel on the market right now. What an incredible upgrade from my old 2K LCD monitor. The image quality, contrast, vibrant colors are out of this world! Was initially worried about the matte coating (vs glossy with the other 4k 240hz OLED monitors out there) but Samsung did something different here as there is no grain or dulling of the image quality at all. In my office where there are many windows including one directly behind my screen, the antiglare coating does an excellent job at diffusing the light. The coating also removes that purple tint you can get with these QD OLED panels. 100% recommend this to anyone and have zero regrets.

It looks great, it is fast, it has no problems with brightness (take a bit of configuring to get where I want it) and has a smart hub to be used like a TV. I have bought and returned many monitors over the years for minute things but I have not a single complaint with this monitor and I plan to keep it for years to come (until Samsung can top this monitor). The monitor has great viewing angles thanks to it's stupendous OLED panel and the uniformity look makes the monitor look like a set piece to your setup. The experience of watching or playing something on this monitor is like a window into another world.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good picture and OLED technology makes it even better. Great features, compatability and using monitor in general is easy and satisfying. However, my monitor came with dent/bend? (which to me looked like glue problem) in which case screen looked like it coming of framework. I noticed this only after few months of using monitor as deattached area was so small. I escalated to warranty and my monitor was picked up, however Samsung refused to fix display as it is damage. It is not game breaking problem but I would not buy same monitor again. I would recommend other brand with more solid framework where screen is inserted in more robust designed frame.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the actual display of this monitor better than any I have ever personally seen. It's high pixel density and super high refresh rate. The anti glare coding was a worry but turned out to be a non issue. The only con is that when you turn on the monitor when it's connected to your pc it always shows the gaming menu for about 30 seconds it it covers the task bar so I always have to immediately double click the back button on the the remote to quickly close the gaming menu. It's easy to do, but sometimes annoying. I hope samsung can give us the option to turn that off in the future because I don't need to see the settings every time I turn on my monitor.

Picture was great but did not keep. Use for work and could not wait for this monitor to wake up from sleep. Would show a 5 second no input screen, then another 5 second connecting screen and then asked to register product blocking the screen for 5 seconds before you could use computer. Called Samsung after registering product to get rid of Register Pop-Up, could not help. Might be something with connecting my ROG computer but did not work for me. I bought this monitor because I had yet to have an issue with a Samsung product, let alone monitor. At first, it was everything I dreamed of. Highest resolution, so fast, a perfect compliment to the 4080 Super. Within a few days, I noticed all the downsides of this monitor. Due to incredibly terrible firmware, dual monitor support is nonexistent and even in single monitor, plenty of black flashing screens - regardless of cable (different brands, bandwidths, etc, even the ones included). This may end up being the last Samsung product I buy. I went with the LG Ultra Gear 45" and it's a dream, even dropping down in resolution.

All I will say is it's been incredible for the last 5 months I have used it. It does everything I need. I wouldn't mind getting another one as a second monitor. Bluetooth feature with my headphones works great and the speakers are awesome which saved me money from buying external speakers. The only negative I have is not enough extra ports but I can live with it. The screen optimization update is a little annoying especially when the monitor is idle. I will definitely recommend this product from my personal use perspective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a lot of new oled monitors, and the specs are pretty much the same, some are glossy, some are matte, some are curved.. but I picked the Samsung because of the smart tv interface. Sometimes I just want to sit and watch a show without turning on the PC. The Tizen interface works great, so far no hiccups. Performance is almost identical to all other new oled monitors.. but for me, it was the tizen interface, and finally a WiFi monitor that can do firmware updates without plugging in a usb drive. It was between this or the Alienware, and I kinda wish it was curved, but so far, it has been phenomenal. PLEASE SAMSUNG, update your warranty with screen burnin like dell/alienware.

But for my video editing needs, this is perfect, especially once calibrated. What's even better is that if I want to kick back and watch some content, this is literally a smart TV replacement. So, how can you go wrong using this? Of course, OLED burn-in is a concern for some, but with the warranty and my usage, I haven't had any issues within the three months I've had it. It may be a big jump from 24 to 32 inches, but it's worth it in the end. Things you lose when you switch from my IPS to OLED are motion clarity (BFI). FPS games on IPS look smoother than on OLED. I was thinking of getting a 27" OLED 360hz monitor, but I ended up getting this so I could enjoy more games and content instead of being stuck at 24" 1080p. I wish this monitor had an option to resize it to 27 or 24 inches for those FPS gamers out there. I got used to the 32" after a week. Just move your monitor back.

Suffice to say, I did not know what I was getting into, it is brighter than my future even when brightness is set to 20. Colors are crisp and clear. I mainly use it for gaming on my PS5 and PC.. as well as work. Excellent 4k display and the speaker on it is pretty impressive too. Very clean design and assembly felt so premium, unlike anything I’ve ever owned. It is very pricey, but this’ll be my primary screen for probably quite a few years. High quality flagship experience.

Overall excellent product. However, I find having certain video settings locked when in gaming mode ridiculous with this many features/hardware in a monitor, cannot use 240hz outside of gaming mode. Also find the Smart features unnecessary for a monitor, too many TV features for a monitor. Default Smart Hub Apps cannot be uninstalled, some the do reinstall themselves, taking up too much storage, so if the product's End of Life support for the Tizen OS ends this might degrade performance as Apps updates continue to auto update taking up more storage and background resources. Currently there is no way to check for firmware updates without Wi-Fi connection, why have USB to connection to computer.

Insane screen quality that is so clear. Makes me look forward to the rainy weekends in. The smart functions are an extra bonus, and to watch Netflix or prime on an OLED screen is a massive game changer compared to my LED TV. The monitor is wall mountable out of the box and already own a 100mm x 100mm arm which was an even bigger bonus. Running the G8 monitor through my PC gaming rig has changed my gaming experience greatly and for sure have been spoilt to never have less than OLED. Can't recommend enough as this monitor does all what I need and more. Keep up the good work Samsung.

They rated this Samsung as the best 4K monitor and the best OLED monitor. Samsung software is decent. Power brick isn't too huge. Settings aren't too terrible to figure out and there are many options. Originally was going to get a 34" ultrawide but at the time they were only in 1440p resolution and I prefer the taller screen as it turns out. Text clarity is fantastic compared to most OLED's. Oh and it comes with a remote which is fun.

Absolutely a stunning monitor but has some issues that need addressing. 1. Monitor randomly goes black for 1-3 seconds while using the PC, gaming or desktop. 2. Monitor has a weird static effect down the center of the screen like it's broken for 1-3 seconds than goes away. 4. Monitor won't wake from sleep if the PC falls asleep; display port cable is not recognized. My best guess is this is just a software related issue as it's not all the time however when it does happen it really ruins the gaming experience. Good thing I'm not playing Hardcore in Diablo 4 right now.

I've had a few monitors in the past and have an OLED Samsung TV and this monitor is by far the best monitor I have ever used. 4k and 240hz looks amazing if my computer is able to output that much. I tried out the 32" alienware and other 27" ones but the anti reflective coating is where it's at. Plus now I'm hearing glossy OLED are prone to micro scratches. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone that's looking for a high end gaming monitor.

While it is necessary to note that i had a problem with flickering row of pixels on the monitor while using my pc it seems to be a one off issue that has yet to appear agian. This monitor has both a beautiful display and color range some users may note that sometimes the brightness in environments with lots of light leaves room to be desired. While the anti reflective coating helps mitigate the issue, it can sometimes be ineffective when combined with both natural and artificial lighting.

I had the 32 inch Neo QLED 32 inch 1440p 240hz monitor and that too was a great monitor. If I had any concessions about the monitor is I wish it was curved and slightly brighter, but neo QLED monitors are crazy bright so tough to compare. The menu is great and amount of settings are fantastic. Gaming looks amazing so does streaming TV services like Netflix and so on. I am happy so far. Loved the price being military.

This isn't a gaming monitor. It's a smart TV that can also be a gaming monitor. It's a great looking panel with amazing blacks and great contrast, but it constantly pops up annoying updates, is slow to start up, and has an annoying heads up display to you let you know you're in "gaming mode". This product could be greatly improved if the software would have more options to make a lot of it silent and out of the way unless the user specifically asks for it. A gaming monitor shouldn't be trying to be a television first - that should be a secondary feature.

Usually about 15 -20 minutes after turning on the monitor, the screen will lose connection. I need to pull out the DP cable and reinsert (can be done at the monitor or desktop). I have tried three different DisplayPort cables (good quality cables including Cable Matters and Startech). After the initial disconnect, it may (or may not) happen again. My previous 27 inch Dell worked fine with the current desktop. I also dislike the Samsung pop up when the monitor starts (and restarts). I just want a monitor, not a TV. It is a very disappointing purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The display is very nice. The controversial matte coating and the white border has really been a non issue. I use mine directly next to a window and it's totally fine for daytime use at 50% brightness. I noticed a little flickering with variable refresh rate. Particularly noticable on games like Factorio. The software is a definite low point. When connected with game mode, a game mode overlay pops up every single time the monitor wakes. This is 5-10 seconds of useless bs on screen, with no (official) way to turn off. There's also lots of opacity on what is and isn't allowed. For example, for certain inputs game mode will be forced on you. You'd have to go through forum posts to find out that it's because of VRR or something.

Games look incredible. I have both an Xbox and PC connected where I play a variety of genres including RPGs, FPS, sports, racing, etc. Every single game, on both devices, looks top-notch. The included display modes add an extra layer of tuning that fit most games its aimed towards. Speakers are great quality too. I really only use headphones when I want that extra sense of immersion. Otherwise, speakers are more than enough to meet your needs. This is a PREMIUM monitor and that comes at a PREMIUM price. Make no mistake, if you're a serious gamer or just want the best possible picture quality, it's worth it.

Not to mention that the monitor also has a 240hz refresh rate making it optimal for high end and competitive gaming. Only downside to this that I’ve seen so far is that games are not optimized properly for 4k gaming and 240hz so unfortunately you don’t get to experience it at its maximum potential. Nonetheless, you are still able to get clear picture quality and stable fps given the right pc build. Its perfect for casual story driven gamers and competitive gamers alike depending on your preferences.

Would highly recommend this monitor, for gaming especially. I really appreciate the glare free aspect of the monitor and how glare does not interfere with gaming or watching videos. The construction of the monitor is beautiful and I am especially taken aback by the slim metal design. I don’t remember seeing the back of a monitor as well designed as this one. In testing the monitor with 8k videos I have to say the picture is stunning and reproduced the video perfectly with spectacular colors and black levels on the OLED panel. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to pick this monitor up especially if you are looking for one with a 240hz refresh rate.

The colors and black are night and day difference from the led panel I had. Has the hdmi 2.1 which performs better than your typical 1.4 display port with an anti-glare screen. The only thing I dont understand or can't rap my head around is streaming movies. My Samsung Neo Led 4k 50in tv seems to have a clearer streaming picture. Cant be sure though as distance from eyes might play a factor, but the colors on this tv are awesome. Overall really happy I made the purchase.

I'm not sure I have ever seen a better looking screen before trying this monitor. Everything looks crisp and us very eye popping because of the 4K screen. The vibrant colors, dark blacks and bright whites make it an absolute joy to use as a daily driver. The FAST 240hz makes gaming feel smooth and competitive gaming feel like a breeze. I love the look of the monitor itself as well. It looks sleek and modern without being too "loud" in the aesthetics department. Coming from a non OLED 1440p 240hz monitor, I can definitely say that you can feel the jump in performance in this upgrade. After experiencing the brightness, dark rich blacks, faster feeling 240hz, vibrant colors, and gorgeous 4k, I can definitely say I would recommend this upgrade to anyone on the fence 10/10 times.

The deep blacks can’t Andy deeper than this! I’ve never noticed any screen tearing effects from fast pace shooter games. The build quality is great on this monitor and the styling of this monitor looks pretty cool to me. Not anything crazy and not boring, it’s just right. A feature I like is the standby mode. It’s one less step for me when I want to hop on for a quick game. I don’t have to ever touch my monitor to turn it on. Overall, if you’re looking for a high end monitor that has the quality your feening for, then this monitor won’t disappoint. I’m happy with what I have and intend to keep it for a few years!

I've had it for a few months and I haven't looked through most of the apps as it's connected to my pc and it's more convenient to access them through a browser. I connected a mouse but notice the input is a bit laggy compared to the remote. One issue I have is all the pop-ups when powering on. I'm not sure if there's a way to configure the monitor so not obscure the screen with menus. Also the rgb lighting ring on the back of the monitor is very dim and the colors aren't very accurate. The sound quality of the built-in speakers are not that great. Beyond that, the picture quality is good. However for the price I paid, I expected more. Once I have more time, I'll go through more of the features.

Once turned on, I immediately noticed the clarity on the moniter. This moniter is like a 2 in 1, not only can you game but you can also stream and watch shows and movies on it. Definitely a space saver for not having to have both a gaming moniter and a TV in the room. The moniter also comes with a remote, my older moniter didn't have these features. I also noticed that you can make video calls with a USB connected camera or using your phone as a camera. How cool is that? I immediately connected the moniter to my Samsung Smartthings app. Once connected, you can use a virtual remote on the app and select different content. This moniter is everything.

Do not buy the G80SD. Samsung completely ruined a premium OLED panel by stuffing it with their awful, ad-ridden Tizen Smart TV software. Switching inputs or waking up my PC is an absolute nightmare; the monitor constantly drops video signals, throws "No Signal" errors, and forces me to navigate TV apps just to see my desktop. To make things worse, the VRR flickering is unbearable during games, and it suffers from terrible black screen bugs. It feels like an unfinished, bloated beta product. Avoid it at all costs.

Running this with a 7900xt and 4K gaming for the first time and it’s amazing. Freesync makes a world of difference I was worried I would have to lower my settings, but this thing is a beast. Runs cool and use it for productivity and studying and not worried about burn in because of it. Highly recommend, only downside I’d put is the IO panel feels easily breakable if you jam the connectors in.

This is my 3rd 27" OLED monitor and by far the best. Here are some pros and cons. Pros: First 4K 27" OLED panel with high refresh rate on the market. Finally no text clarity issues due to unusual sub pixel layout like predecessors used to have. It's thin and light and partially made out of metal therefore feels premium. Cons: No KVM that would be very useful for productivity. No USB-C to connect and charge your laptop with just one cable. USB type-A cable wasn't included in the box, that's unusual.

DONT BUY FROM SAMSUNG. I bought the 32 inch odyssey G8 (G81SF), the monitor is nice looks good, but for the price of this G8 other monitors are a better options in terms of paying for what you get. This was my first oled monitor and I thought I would like the matte finish on the screen but once I saw it in my setup and for the amount I paid, I really wasn't happy with it. I would love to switch to a glossy finish. I messaged samsung costumer service within 15 days but I didn't realize samsung canada DOESNT TAKE RETURNS on open box items. Now im stuck with a very very expensive monitor that I don't love. If youre reading this review and this monitor is in your price range, I would highly recommend looking into monitors with a glossy finish (which samsung doesn't offer), or if you want a matte finish, look into W-OLED monitors from other brands. If this is the monitor you really want for whatever reason, dont buy it from samsung. You won't be able to return it just in case you try it and you don't like it. Overall HORRIBLE experience buying from here.

Everything looks so clear and the colors are so vibrant. This monitor has deep blacks and very true accurate colors. It has a great response time during gaming, meaning no lagging, and up to 240Hz refresh rate. I like that it's not just a gaming moniter, you can also stream apps and watch TV. It's like an all in one and saves space in your home. No need for a moniter and TV, all you need is this moniter. Also, did I mention how thin it is? You can connect this moniter to the Samsung SmartThings app and you can control it via the virtual controller and select content to watch from there as well. The moniter also comes with a physical remote. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Im not much of a gamer, but the matte screen is nice to reduce reflections from my window light and monitor overhead light. I use this mainly for office and media use. It feels very fast with my laptop with a dedicated gpu. I do wish this had a usb c port for connection but i understand that to get the max from the monitor and computer it is best to keep the display connection separate from usb c. I connect it over hdmi.

I can’t speak to the full gaming potential since my 1080 Ti can’t push the high refresh rates, but for light gaming, plus lots of graphic design, video work, and multitasking, it’s been outstanding. The clarity, contrast, and overall experience make it hard to go back to anything else. I’m seriously considering a second one for a dual-monitor setup.

This monitor is not bright at all. Like wow, I upgraded from a Samsung G5 and this is just underwhelming. I like the addition of speakers but for the price of this monitor, I expected so much more. Also, why not have eArc/ARC support instead of just ARC? I like the sleekness of the smart features. I've been able to find most of my regular apps just fine. I would also like to add that the Nvidia control panel says this monitor is not G-Sync compatible, despite being advertised as such.

The monitor can not Auto switch between powered on sources. Unless you are fine with constantly having to use the rear controls on the monitor to switch your connected source please look elsewhere. This is a common issue and still has not been addressed, the monitor will hang in standby and not detect the powered source. For example, I use this for my PC and Nintendo Switch. If you power the PC on and then decide you want to power the switch on, it will switch over. When you then power the switch off, it will not go back to the PC and will hang in standby. You then have to manually switch the source using the rear controls on the monitor to switch to the PC, it will likely then not detect any input from the PC and you will have to power of the PC and turn it back on again for it to detect the source.

The QD-OLED panel allows for more brightness than you’ll likely ever need. I never need to run it at 100 percent brightness. The design is impeccable with thin bezels all around and a relatively small stand for increased desk space. An optional VESA mount is built in as well. There are many options for OLED displays but in my opinion, this is the cream of the crop.

It is an all purpose monitor that I can use for work, and gaming. Clean and clear text, I can fit 4 apps on the screen comfortably to work with. Color reproduction is fantastic, Minimal adjustment needed. With the up to 240hz refresh rate, my eyes don't feel tired even after a whole day of work. Height adjustable, tilt adjustable and even can rotate a full 90 degrees if you need a vertical monitor.

Colors are accurate, blacks are incredibly deep, and the matte finish eliminates the glare I've had with other OLED monitors in the same conditions. The built in smart TV features won't be for everyone, and I personally would rather do without it as it can be annoying to do things like switch input sources at times, but beyond that it's an excellent monitor.

Monitor is absolutely gorgeous and the anti glare is truly amazing. However, just like almost every other samsung monitor the experience is ruined by weird software issues. My screen randomly has pixelated lines, you can't use peak brightness in sdr, and peak brightness will not stay on when using hdr. If you restart your monitor or turn off the source you have to re enable peak brightness everytime. If samsung releases a software update quickly this could be a 5 star monitor.

Low input lag is also important, but that's the case with most monitors. Having VRR support helps reduce screen tearing, and most monitors support common VRR formats. Lastly, premium monitors usually have incredible picture quality, so they offer the best of both worlds. Even some entry-level monitors have good picture quality, but these are less common.

The picture quality is stunning - deep blacks, vibrant colors, and the 240Hz refresh rate keeps everything feeling incredibly smooth. This monitor has great color and video quality. The problems I have is the functionality and options. There are too many and they don't work well. I don't want the Smart Hub. USELESS! I don't use my MONITOR as a tv. The gaming mode is too bright and washed out and doesn't allow for brightness and contrast configurations because of pre-sets. The main problem I have with this monitor is that the HDMI does not detect the PC signal to wake up the monitor from Standby. Display Port works normally. I tried reg HDMI, 4K HDMI and even 8K HDMI cables. Same problem. I performed a factory reset 3 times. Still same problem. I upgraded firmware. Same problem. I was going to return it but decided to keep it since I will only use Display Port and don't really want to mess with it and RISK getting a REFURBISHED monitor as a replacement.

Really love the display but I have issues with the display blacking out from time to time. I would say if I sit down to play some games for 2-4 hours it will happen 1-3 times normally the screen will recover within 1 to 2 seconds. I have ruled out Graphics card, display cable, and port. I guess it has something to do with the high refresh rate. I might try dropping to 120hz to see if the issue resolves but I really love the monitor the other 99.9% of the time.

The reason i gave it 3 stars is because when gaming in 4k it randomly turns the whole screen black. I tried tweakikg nvidia settings and ingame settings. The only thing that worked is when dropping resolution to 2k. I have tried it on a 4090, 3090 and a 2080 super. Its either an nvidia issue or the monitor itself. I have read in the internet and this is not an isolated issue. A lot of people have been experiencing this too and there has been no update to fix this. For now i can only enjoy 4k streaming on this monitor and 2k gaming. I really love to give this 5 stars but 4k gaming is what i bought this for and its not really working. I hope samsung does not ignore this issue and hopefully give us an update to fix this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The specs are frankly overkill. On DP1.4, the option of 10bit 4K 240Hz shows up, it looks fantastic. I haven't really noticed and FSC artifacts. The display is gorgeous, input latency is nothing noticable, and the pixel response time plus 240Hz yields the best gaming experience. Movies look fine once settings are dialed in. I do wish Samsung made it easy to get a mode where nothing more than the most accurate and true to the original picture was displayed.

Every samsung monitor I've ever owned (so far 3), has developed an issue of intermittent black screen when connected to HDMI. This monitor worked fine for about 3 months and then started this issue, the screen goes black every so often and looses connection. Sometimes the monitor will stay black and be unresponsive if i hit the home button. I can tell the monitor is still on because I am hearing the selection noises when i click on the remote. I contacted support and they instructed me to send it in for repair, I use this monitor for work as well as gaming and i cannot be without a monitor for however long it takes to send it in. They should just replace the monitor rather than repair. I just bought an alienware and got rid of the G8. The alienware does not do this black screen issue and has a much better picture. Im done with Samsung

Monitor is absolutely brilliant. Performance is amazing and it looks slick. Definitely recommend if you are playing on a standard tv to change to Oled screen that has enough specs to run everything your pc or console can do. I would highly recommend this product. I saw another review about the broken power button and something else but as long as instructions are followed and care is taken there should be know issues as I haven’t had any so far.

The HDR is excellent with deep blacks, punchy highlights, and real pop without looking artificial. Colors absolutely explode in 4K video. Everything looks vibrant and alive. Brightness and contrast are outstanding, responsiveness is snappy for gaming or fast moving content, upscaling handles lower-res stuff cleanly, and the vibrancy is genuinely impressive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are one of those people that got use to having 120hz oled on your phone, tablet, and laptop; then the next step is your external monitor. It definitely is easier on the eyes than my old lcd monitor. It really does allow me to work for a long time with my reading glasses on. My only recommended improvement would be usb c thunderbolt capability and a quick way to adjust the screen brightness. Otherwise it would be a perfect computer monitor.

This is my second gaming monitor I have ever own and love it. I use it for gaming of course and the quality is good, I messed with the settings for picture to adjust the contrast and brightness to make the colors more natural. I also use it to stream shows and anime of course. Overall an amazing Monitor and amazing picture quality.

The matte coating is great, lack of fans better, and the picture quality is a step up. Ultimately though it's a a TV which is also an amazing monitor, if you want to dual use it it's best in class - I'm reconsidering upgrading my OLED TV given it's capabilities - but if you want a traditional monitor experience with minimal interaction with the monitor software, this isn't it.

Remarkable refresh rate. The response times are so fast that I feel like I'm cheating. HDR, when enabled makes the monitor really bright and games look amazing. I play fast paced FPS games like COD and Apex Legends and this monitor fully delivers. The monitor is amazing absolutely pleased with it.

I have managed to secure this epic monitor for the special introduction price, I have managed to witness it in action at a special event, I can confirm this is an epic picture and refresh rate. The anti glare is out of this world, it's the best of both worlds if your looking for a great 32inch oled tv and a fantastic monitor foe your console or PC. The colors are super vibrant, and the blacks are really deep, which makes games and videos look incredible. It’s an OLED screen, so that’s a big upgrade from regular monitors. The 240Hz refresh rate and super fast response time make everything feel smooth, especially when I’m playing fast games like Valorant or Call of Duty. No lag, no weird motion blur—just super clean gameplay. It also looks cool. The design is sleek, and the lighting on the back adds a nice touch. The stand is sturdy and easy to adjust, so I can set it up just how I like. If I had to complain about anything, it’s that it doesn’t have HDMI 2.1, which might matter if you use a console. And like most OLEDs, it can get a bit warm. But honestly, I haven’t had any issues.

I got this the other day and it is nice (just wish it was black instead of white and silver, my gaming setup is everything black, but that doesn't take too much away). I had to tinker with a few settings, I have my nintendo switch oled on it and my macbook pro. Was having a hard time replicating the colors from my macbook pro to the monitor (felt a little washed out). Other than that very easy installing (no need for tools)

Its fast without being choppy, and the viewing angles are forgiving. It takes standard VESA mounts, so I can easily add a multi monitor mount whenever I buy another one. The blacks are dark, the colors are vibrant, and the display is bright without bleeding light. It has HDR 10+ certifications and covers 100% of sRGB, so if you do work with color reproduction on the side or for a living and gaming on the side, this would be a beast of a main panel. In games, there's no trail, no choppiness, and the colors and contrast look fantastic. It supports GSYNC, FreeSync, and adaptive sync so you won't have to worry about frame buffering or fooling around with sync limiting your refresh rates. Highly recommend, would give 6 stars if I could!

This is a great gaming monitor and an excellent smart display. However, the speakers are of poor quality, and there is no aux output—only Bluetooth audio. This makes it difficult to use external computer speakers if you want to take advantage of the smart features. This feels like a major oversight on Samsung’s part, especially since other Odyssey monitors include this feature. It would have been especially useful here.

Your eyes feel very comfortable for a long period of time while looking at this monitor. The OLED display helps a lot with that. The vibrant colors and frame rate make for amazing video quality. Be cautious if you are in a heavily lit environment or deal with the sun a lot. The screen may be harder to see. Best used if in low light conditions.

Great colour fantastic blacks, and actually the TV smart functionality makes perfect sense, you don't need to fire up the PC every time. This is a good monitor am not going to go through the specific part's you can review that yourselves, it looks great it sounds good but most of all it's a quick vibrant fast response monitor with a great anti glare feature I actually really like 👍 ps it is a little expensive though

This monitor is good. Nice colors and decent features. One negative that drops this monitor from 5 stars to 4 stars is that the auto source feature doesn't work well. I offer have to manually switch the sources when switching from one input to another. I never had this issue with my previous 14 year old benq. You would think for $1400 they would have auto source switch working flawlessly or include a remote.

I love this monitor, it's beautiful, it's super smooth, and the image is truly stunning. So why a 1 star review? Because after 3 months of minimal use (on average 1-2 hours a day), the right speaker blew out. They want me to ship it into them to repair it instead of just replacing the obviously defective monitor. And use what to work on in the mean time with my desktop computer? Magic? I'm so disappointed.

It offers a great response time during gaming and up to 240Hz refresh rate. It comes with a ton of apps for streaming content up to 4K HDR and playing games. It comes with a remote that has a solar panel built-in for charging. This makes getting to the settings and content a lot easier than your standard monitor. The Samsung G8 monitor also offers a Customized Picture Mode, Slim Bezel Design, Back lighting, FreeSync Premium Pro, Game Bar, and a Game Hub. I am amazed at the picture quality that this monitor has to offer. Not only is it great for streaming content and playing games, it is also great for regular computer use. It really shows how far monitors have come along over the years. It's almost impossible to put into words just how crisp and clean the image quality is.
